The Problem

You notice that your foot is sliding forward inside your shoe. Next, your heel is slipping out of your shoe at the back. Strange, they definitely fit when you tried them on in the store! Before you know it, you are clenching your toes, walking awkwardly and trying to get through your day with the knowledge that you just cannot keep your shoes on! Does this sound familiar?

We set out to solve shoe slipping and answer the question How do you stop your heels from slipping out of your shoes when you walk?’

Like us, you have probably tried heel grips, insoles, party feet or other shoe inserts. You may have sprayed your feet with hairspray or desperately stuffed your shoes with cotton wool – anything to keep those shoes in place.  You may have even discarded shoes that you love because nothing seemed to help.

We have been there.

Why do some shoes Slip at the Heel?

There are many reasons that shoes slip at the heel, but most often it is due to:

  • Loose fit
  • Half sizes
  • Narrow feet
  • Variation between right/left foot size
  • Variation in shoe sizing between brands
  • Stretched shoes
  • Weight loss
  • Shoe style/design

The Solution:  ShoeStix®
